Imagine being able to oversee all your servers and storage hardware via one simple, central management console. HP-SIM sits at the heart of HP Insight Control and delivers an easy-to-use way to monitor and control your entire server infrastructure across multiple operating systems. Unified infrastructure management makes monitoring simple and central. Version 5.1 of HP-SIM extends basic monitoring by integrating HP Service Essentials Remote Support Pack. If a problem is identified with a device under warranty or on contract, HP-SIM can automatically initiate a call to HP Support. Additional features include reporting on HP warranty and service contract status, intelligent event diagnosis and resolution, and spare parts identification.
‘Total control’ also means you gain the ability to remotely manage your systems – from anywhere and at any time – independent of the operating system status, and with complete, standards-based security. Embedded in every ProLiant server, our unique Integrated Lights-Out 2 technology allows systems administrators to control server power, view server hardware health and leverage the serial console.
