In order to benefit from writable low space copies we implement NetApp storage, because of NetApp’s unique SnapShot technology we are able to take up to x255 snapshots at volume level without any performance overhead, using an additional application called FlexClone we are then able to make the SnapShots writable allowing for tests to be run against a point in time copy of your production environment.
